Participate in Research

Get involved in design and dementia research. You can find a list of ongoing recruitment for studies on this page. A few things to look out for; please check that you are enrolling in a research that is either global or one that is from the country in which you are currently living in.

Design and Dementia Research Project - Pilot : A pre-and post-survey (2 online surveys in 3 months)

You are invited to participate in a research study aimed at co-designing a sustainable digital knowledge translation intervention that is delivered via a website and social media. The interventions seek to increase dementia inclusive design knowledge and implementation among advocates, educators, people with dementia, care partners, professionals and the public.

ADEPT study (Architecture for Dementia in Education, Practice, and Training)

Click here to participate in the ADEPT Survey

This international study explores how professionals in architecture, planning, housing, design, and related fields approach dementia-inclusive design in both practice and education. The survey takes around 15–20 minutes to complete. All questions are optional, and your insights will directly inform future guidance, training, and policy in this area. The ADEPT study is a collaboration between the University of Stirling and Dementia Alliance International, with findings to be shared openly later in 2025. You can sign up for a copy of the results of this study using our information sign-up form.
